Here is an easy craft made by the kids. It's a delicious autumn apple which is both easy and fun to make. The apple is made from an old childrens' book, the stalk is a pencil and then they've used a few ribbons, a piece of string and paper for the leaves.
These types of projects are my favorites! Love your apple and all the possibilities with different papers, I've even added photos!

SvarSletYes, Rose, it's a great idea to re-use old books for some kind of craft. I find it very hard to throw out old books - however old they are.
SvarSletThis is a lovely craft for Autumn.
SvarSletIt is so cool I've featured it on The Sunday Showcase this week: http://www.herecomethegirlsblog.com/2013/09/14/cool-crafts-kids.html
